SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The local Salvation Army is hoping for a few big days before Christmas.
The kettle donations are still down about $10,000. The Salvation Army said it did receive three $100 bills in one bucket and it also did get receive a gold coin.
Organizers say last year, the area saw a pretty hefty snowfall, so there is a possibility they could catch up to last year's total.
