Salvation Army gets a golden bar

It was a very merry Christmas for the Salvation Army in Michigan City.
A generous person dropped a gold bar into a Red Kettle.
The Salvation Army said the matchbook-sized gold bar brought $1,300 into the Red Kettle campaign.
The money will be used to help people who need it in the Michigan City area.
