Salvation Army working hard to make Christmas wishes come true

Tuesday was the day that Christmas wishes came true.

About 700 employees and volunteers from the Salvation Army have been working long hours since October to donate Christmas gifts to kids that are in need.

The children received food, clothing, toys, and other necessities all handed out at the Kroc Community Church Chapel.

“Especially at Christmas time when families are celebrating and buying gifts we have families who feel so bad they can't provide even a Christmas meal. but like I said our partnerships we're able to provide hope and a Christmas for these families,” said Jan Marable, manager of Family Resource Center.

But the Salvation Army’s work isn't quite done yet, they still have four days left for kettle donations.
