Over the next week, the main stories will be the much colder temperatures and the chances for rain (perhaps a few snowflakes?). Monday and Tuesday are cloudy, but mostly dry other than a few showers Tuesday morning. Highs will be mild in the upper 50s Monday before falling into the upper 40s for highs Tuesday.
Beyond Tuesday it is significantly colder with daily highs in the lower to middle 40s through the upcoming weekend. Rain is a very good bet both Wednesday and Thursday, which doesn’t bode well for Halloween festivities on Thursday. It currently looks wet, breezy and cold throughout the day and into the night.
A freeze is likely both Friday night and Saturday night as the coldest air mass of the season thus far surges in from Canada.

Monday: Cloudy with a sprinkle possible. High of 58.
Tuesday: Cloudy skies after a few morning showers. High of 48.
Wednesday: Cloudy and rainy. High of 42.
