SBPD to "Walk the Beat"

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- More South Bend police officers are hitting the streets.

The city announced its new initiative to make sure officers are more visible in our neighborhoods.

The city believes getting out and walking will help with officers build community relations and increase trust and security.
