Seal coating will close section of S.R. 331 starting Monday

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation announced on Thursday that maintenance crews will be seal coating sections of S.R. 331 next week which will result in a road closure starting on Monday, Oct. 7.

"S.R. 331 be closed during daytime work hours between U.S. 20 and S.R. 106 for approximately four days. The official detour for this closure will follow U.S. 20, U.S. 31, U.S. 6 and State Road 106," INDOT officials said.

"Through traffic should utilize the detour or seek an alternate route. Local traffic should exercise caution and follow traffic directions carefully in the area where work is occurring."


Crews say the work is weather dependent, and the schedule is subject to change.
