Search at Pleasant Lake in Edwardsburg turns out to be false alarm

A search at Pleasant Lake in Edwardsburg, Sunday afternoon turned out to be the result a false alarm.
The call came in at 5:10 p.m. and fire crews deployed to multiple locations around the lake.
The search began because of a call about a capsized boat. However after investigating, the Edwardsburg Fire Department discovered that the boat was really a canoe that had been in the water for some time.
No one was reported missing, and the search has been called off.
