Search warrant in Benton Harbor uncovers drug trafficking

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – The Southwest Enforcement Team West Office teamed up with the Berrien County Tactical Response Unit to execute a search warrant on Tuesday, November 24th. The teams found enough evidence to indicate narcotics trafficking.

The search happened in the 500 block of McAllister Avenue in Benton Harbor.

According to officials, approximately an ounce of crack-cocaine packaged in 100 individual baggies, three pounds of marijuana, an unregistered pistol, and other evidence was found that lead to a conclusion of drug trafficking.

A 44-year-old male resident of the city was arrested during the investigation and taken to the Berrien County jail on multiple charges.
