Seasonal resource center in Mishawaka opening April 8

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.- The Organic Resource and Household Hazardous Waste Center in Mishawaka will open for the 2023 season on Saturday, April 8.
Regular hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The Organic Resource and Household Hazardous Waste Center is located at 1105 E. Fifth St. in Mishawaka.
According to the City of Mishawaka's website, household hazardous waste is any item or waste considered toxic, corrosive, or pose a threat to human safety or the safety of the environment.
Mishawaka's Curbside Recycling Program will continue to address recycling needs.
The St. Joseph County Waste Management location is open year-round to accept household hazardous waste.
