Second shooting victim dies

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A second person died as a result of a shooting Saturday night near Lincolnway West and College Street.

Jarina Bailey, 20, was in critical condition Sunday evening, but died overnight.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.

Dominique Jackson, 29, was the first victim of last weekend’s shootings.

Jackson was found Saturday night after police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of North Huey.

Jackson died at the hospital.

There was a third shooting on Sunday afternoon near Huey and Vassar Avenue where a dozen shots were fired.

The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit believes the shootings are related and possibly gang-related.
