Jeremy Cuellar made his first appearance in court on Monday.
Cuellar and Kemia Hassel, Tyrone's wife, are both charged in Tyrone's murder.
Cuellar was arrested in Georgia in January.
The judge set Cuellar's bond at $2.5 million. If he is released on bond, he will be subject to GPS monitoring.
Cuellar and Kemia will be in court for a pre-exam hearing on February 13.
