One injured in fire on Ewing Avenue

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation following a fire on Ewing Avenue Thursday afternoon.
The road was closed between Caroline and Robinson streets for a couple of hours while firefighters responded to the incident.
According to crews on scene, one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Firefighters are investigating the fire's cause but believe it started in the living room.
