Section of Ironwood drive to be closed starting May 8

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend will be closing the southbound lane, and the center turn lane of Ironwood Drive, from Bader to Cedar Streets starting Wednesday, May 8 for a water service line repair.
The city says southbound traffic will detour west on Corby Boulevard, south on Twyckenham, east on McKinley to Ironwood.
Traffic heading north is not expected to be impacted during the repair.
Crews hope to reopen the lanes by end of day Friday, May 10.
