Semi crashes into tree and house after driving off SR120

A semi drove into a tree and a house after driving off the side of SR 120 early Wednesday morning for an unknown reason, according to the La Grange County Sheriff's Department.

Dispatchers received a 911 call at 3:38 a.m. about a semi that crashed into a home in the 3700 block of E. SR 120.

Deputies said the driver was traveling westbound on SR 120 when his semi left the road, crossed CR 375 East and hit a tree.

After hitting the tree, the trailer split in half and the cab continued moving forward and struck the south side of a home and a detached garage.

The residents, who were home at the time, were not injured.

The semi driver was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
