Semi driver injured in farm-related accident

A semi driver was injured while attempting to unload bales of hay, according to the La Grange County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies were called to the 100 block of CR 700 South in La Grange County on Saturday.

The semi driver was trying to unload bales of hay from his trailer when a bale fell from the trailer and landed on the driver, according to deputies.

As the driver was hit by the first bale, a second bale fell on him.

The victim was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Hospital Fort Wayne.

The victim's name has not been released.
