Semi overturns on Toll Road near Notre Dame exit

A semi rolled over this afternoon on the Indiana Toll Road near the Notre Dame exit.



When the truck turned over so did all of its cargo, leaving sheet metal all over the highway!



Traffic was backed up for miles while crews cleaned up the mess.



"It appears that they may have shifted a load and caused the semi to tip over. The driver of that vehicle was taken to Memorial Hospital to have his injuries checked out,” said Andrew Kocsis, a trooper with the Indiana State Police.



Police say debris from the crash hit two cars. Thankfully, neither of those drivers was hurt.
