Semi-truck driver sent to hospital after crash on I-94

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.— The driver of a semi-truck was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after a crash, according to the Baroda-Lake Township Police Department.

Police were called to assist with a crash involving a single semi-truck on the eastbound side of I-94 near mile marker 18 around 7 a.m.

The driver was extricated from the semi and taken to the hospital, police said.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene, including Lake Township Fire Rescue, Lincoln Township Fire Rescue, Bridgman City Fire Rescue, Bridgman City Police, Michigan State Police, Berrien County Hazmat, Medic 1 Ambulance and MDOT.
