Senior PGA Championship Long Drive Contest to be held April 6

The 2022 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship Community Long Drive Contest will be held on April 6 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Pipestone Indoor Country Club, 259 Territorial Road in Benton Harbor.

The event will feature age divided longest drive contests for fans of all ages. Contestants are encouraged to bring their own drivers but rental clubs will be available.

The event is open to the public and no purchase or sign up is necessary.

Winners will take home tournament tickets and other prizes.

Evelyn Mae’s Barbeque Food Truck will be at the April 6 event.

“With spring, and the 2022 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, just around the corner, we are excited to offer golf fans in southwest Michigan a chance to have some fun, shake off the rust, and get excited for the Championship’s long-awaited return to Harbor Shores,” said PGA Championship Director Brandon Haney.

It will also be a chance for fans to learn more about the breweries and wineries that will be showcased in the Makers Trail 19th-Hole Pavilion during the May championship.
