Crews from Michigan and Indiana teamed together to fight a fire at a barn in Cass County for several hours Thursday night into Friday morning.
It started on Chapel Hill Road, near US 12, after 7 p.m. but smoke was still billowing out of the roof as of 11:30 p.m.
Firefighters told ABC 57 no one was injured, and no animals were inside.
But with hot and humid weather, heat exhaustion was a concern.
Crews said there was a lot of hay inside, which was a big factor in the ongoing fight.
