Several 2020 South Bend seniors graduate while also earning associate degrees

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Four 2020 seniors graduating from South Bend High Schools have also earned associate degrees from Ivy Tech.

Each senior studied at Ivy Tech during their senior year.

Congratulations to Josue Reynoso, Ashley Laura, Morgan Rankin-Jokerst and Kayla Rivera!

Laura, Rivera and Rankin-Jokerst all received associate degrees in General Gtudies.

Reynoso received an associate degree for Applied Science in Automotive Technology and Rivera also received a certificate in cyber security. 

The students were able to earn their associate degrees through the ASAP program, which allowed them to earn dual credit through Ivy Tech and their high schools.

The goal of the program is to prepare students to either enter the workforce or apply/enroll at a four year college as soon as they graduate.
