Several without power on County Road 12 in Elkhart due to crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - Several people were without power on County Road 12, near County Road 1, Monday morning due to a single vehicle crash, according to Indiana Michigan Power.

Since the crash, all power has been restored. 

At 8:04 a.m., a 2013 Ford Edge was traveling east on C.R. 12 when it ran off the side of the road and hit a utility pole, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the Edge was taken to the hospital for a head injury.

At the time of the crash, the weather was clear and the road surface was dry, deputies said.
