KENTUCKY — Officers say that severe weather is to blame for two accidents on a Kentucky highway Sunday morning.
Traffic was at a standstill for more than two hours after a three vehicle pile-up in the pouring rain involving a fire truck.
Firefighters were responding to a rollover when another car struck the fire truck.
Five people were rushed to area hospitals. Three of the five were firefighters. Two of the injured suffered critical injuries.
