Sewer maintenance in Mishawaka next week

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Sewer Department will intermittently close West Mishawaka Avenue from Logan Street to Main Street between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., starting Monday, June 17.

City officials say sewer maintenance and cleaning will be performed and due to the location of the sewer structures, flaggers will be directing traffic to Grove Street as a detour.

The work is expected to be done by Friday, June 21, weather permitting.

Barricades and signage will be in place for this closure, and motorists are asked to use alternate routes to avoid travel delays.
