Sheriff's department employee under investigation

An employee of the Berrien County Sheriff's Office is under investigation for the alleged embezzlement of tether funds, according to Sheriff L. Paul Bailey.
Sheriff Bailey says the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office is conducting the investigation of the civilian employee assigned to Support Services.
The employee is on administrative leave with pay during the investigation.
