Sheriff's deputy and others injured in car accident

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. — Authorities say four people, including a Hancock County sheriff's deputy, were injured when a car veered off the road and struck a police cruiser.
The deputy stopped to help a driver with car trouble. Minutes later, another car hit the officer's cruiser when then struck a truck.
The deputy, truck driver and two people in the car were taken to an Indianapolis hospital.
Police believe the driver fell asleep behind the wheel causing the crash.
