The Confession
ELKHART, Ind. -- 'Shipshewana on the Road' made its way over to Elkhart this afternoon, with hundreds of vendors selling their unique items to everyone who decided to come check it out.
The event aims to help the local shops of Shipshewana, allowing more people to get their hands on their products.
"It was actually, actually a very interesting story. About 35 years ago, my parents came down to ship to wanna then they went out to dinner that evening, and they just had such a great time and enjoyed it. They thought, you know, if we wanna see these people again, we have to bring them to us, and as Kennedy followed from there, and about a month later, they had their very first show," stated Event Director Greg Fountain.
Their next stop will be the Porter County Expo Center next weekend, with doors opening at 9 a.m. on March 15.
