Shirtless man breaks in Mishawaka school

MISHAWAKA, Ind -- Some time before 9 p.m. a shirtless man was reported to be running around Winding Brooke subdivision off of Day Road.
At 8:58 p.m. a fire alarm was sounded at Covenant Christian School on the corner of Fir Road and Day Road.
Officers from St Joseph County and Mishawaka found signs of a broken entry and a male suspect in the building.
He ran from the police and barricaded himself in the building. The canine unit was brought in and he was apprehended.
He was transferred to St Joseph Medical Center for evaluation.
