LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Man has fired shots at law enforcement and has fled to a wooded area.

UPDATE: Officers are currently searching the area of 600 N. and 200 E. in LaPorte County for a Hispanic male wearing Khaki shorts, black shirt, tattoos, thick build- 5'8". black hair and 140 pounds.

The suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous.

If you see him do not approach him, immediately call 911

The suspect may be on foot with more than one individual; their clothing is unknown at this time.
