Shooting in South Bend sends one person to the hospital

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Officials confirmed that police were called to the 400 block of Navarre Street at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday for reports of a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
The severity of the victim's injuries is currently unknown.
Officials say the Violent Crimes Unit is investigating this shooting and police are still at the scene.
