One man killed in homicide at Laurel Woods Apartments in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department and South Bend Police reportedly responded to a shooting at Laurel Woods Apartment Complex around 6:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Officers report's confirm that one man has been killed, and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Police have officially announced it as a homicide investigation. 

South Bend Police Violent Crimes unit is on-site and currently investigating.

No suspects have been released at this time.
