Shooting involving two children ruled accidental

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police have determined Saturday’s shooting involving two children was accidental.

The 5-year-old who was shot remains in critical condition at the hospital.

The 9-year-old is home with family, but has been traumatized by the incident.

The boys are relatives, but not immediate family members, police said.
