One dead after shooting on Beale Street in South Bend Thursday night

UPDATE: This shooting has been ruled a justifiable homicide. The man wounded in the shooting, identified as 68-year-old Richard Davis, died due to his injuries.
ORIGINAL STORY:
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend Police responded to a call around 9:20 p.m. of a potential shooting in the 1100 block of Beale Street Thursday.
First responders found one victim with gunshot wounds.
Police say shooting victim was transported to hospital and their condition is currently unknown.
The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
