Shooting on County Road 45 sends one to the hospital

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - One person was injured in a shooting on County Road 45 near Ox Bow Park Wednesday morning, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 23000 block just before 5 a.m. for the incident.
At the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
A suspect was arrested on scene.
Deputies say this is an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public.
