Shooting reported on Mishawaka Avenue was attempted suicide

Police responded to a shooting on Mishawaka Avenue near Logan Street Thursday afternoon, according to St. Joseph County dispatch.
The shooting was reported at 5:48 p.m.
Once on scene, police said the incident was an attempted suicide.
