Shooting victim walks into Memorial Hospital

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Dispatch confirmed a shooting victim walked into Memorial Hospital on Thursday night. 

According to the South Bend Police Department's Twitter, the victim is a 16-year-old male with a non-life threatening wound to the lower leg. 

The call came in around 8:17 p.m. about the victim looking for treatment at the hospital in South Bend.

Shots were allegedly fired near Elmer and Elwood in South Bend.
