Deadly shooting at Indian Springs Apartments

One man is dead according to the South Bend Police.
Units were called to the 2700 block of Buckskin Lane at 7:53 p.m.
Police described the shooting as "suspicious" and Metro Homicide has now take over the investigation.
"We have some leads that we're following up. We have some people that we're talking to," said Metro Homicide Commander Mike Grzegorek. "It's very early in the investigation but we do have one person that is deceased. There were people in the apartment. We don't know who or how many at this point but there was more than one person in the apartment at the time of the shooting."
Neighbors say they're fed up with violence in the area.
