Saturday, July 22nd , 2023
The middle of the weekend brings brisk temperatures in the low 60s tonight and a slight chance of a shower for those closer to Lake Michigan's coastline. An isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out during the evening. Almost all of Michiana stays dry in the overnight hours, but rain returns Sunday in two separate waves. The first bout of rain arrives Sunday morning and lasts into the early afternoon as temperatures peak in the low 80s. A brief dry period fills in the Sunday afternoon gap until more rain returns early Sunday evening and lingers through sunset. While rain will be scattered, no strong or severe storms are expected. We finish the weekend with temperatures dropping into the low 60s and overcast skies during the night. Monday starts the week on par for mid-July weather with temperatures sitting comfortably in the mid to high 80s and mostly cloudy skies. We continue to climb the heat ladder Tuesday with near 90s across Michiana and a row of AM showers followed by partly cloudy skies.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 61.
Sunday: Rain. High 83.
Monday: Mostly cloudy. High 86.
