Highs climb into the mid 80s today, and it will feel muggy.
This afternoon into the evening, storms will develop in Michiana.
Widespread storms are not likely. Scattered, short-lived storms that could be strong, possibly an isolated severe storm, are the most likely scenario.
Storms could bring gusty winds, hail, and periods of heavy rain. There is a lower risk for flooding. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Storms are most likely in the eastern portions of Michiana. By tonight, storms move out of the area.
It will be cooler Friday with sunny skies and a high in the upper 70s.
Saturday is another pleasant day.
Rain and possibly thunderstorms return Sunday afternoon.
Temperatures will climb again next week, soaring into the 90s starting Wednesday.
