Many will be greeted with a wall of humidity early this morning as a line of showers and storms moves in later with minimal impacts to the morning commute expected. Scattered thunderstorms will develop across Michiana through the afternoon, but not everyone will see wet weather today. Storms with strong wind gusts and heavy rain are more likely than severe storms, but the severe risk is present, mainly in the evening and overnight. We will reach the upper 80s late this afternoon and eventually cool down to the low 70s as a cold front moves through the area late tonight. Storm intensity through the overnight and into Friday likely remains the same, but scattered storms will become more isolated through Friday. The wet weather wraps up tomorrow night for a cooler and less humid first weekend of August.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms. High 88.
Tonight: Isolated thunderstorms. Low 70.
Friday: Isolated thunderstorms. High 83.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 86.
