Signature Lanes in Elkhart is hosting "A Week for Riley Kids"

The PBA and Signature Lanes Family Fun Center in Elkhart are working together to raise money for an important cause, and they’re inviting the community to join them.

From August 13-18, Signature Lanes will host the Professional Bowler Association Tournament and raise money for Riley’s Hospital for Children. The event named “A Week for Riley Kids” will have several activities including a carnival, BBQ contest and bowling with the pros.

“We can make a great event for both Riley and the PBA tour by being able to have the broadest of audiences for a great sport and a great activity,” said Roger Brown, President and CEO of Signature Lanes.

Riley’s Hospital for Children is based in Carmel and Indianapolis. Brown said growing up in Indy, he knew how well received the hospital was and jumped on the opportunity to help out.

“It treated and showed compassion to all of the kids who needed healthcare in the area,” said Brown.

“I sort of, growing up, took that to heart and thought it would be a great chance and a great opportunity to express my appreciation for what they do throughout the country,” said Brown.

Their fundraising goal is to exceed $200,000. For more information on Riley and the week’s events, you can log onto www.rileychildrens.org or www.siglanes.com
