Silver Beach in store for gold improvements

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Some major improvements could be in store for Silver Beach County Park beginning this year!
The Berrien County Parks Commission said it wants to make several new additions, including the installation of a hard-surface trail and a universally accessible playground.
The commission plans to apply for a state grant to help cover those park improvements, but is looking for your feedback!
The commission will host a public meeting to discuss the improvements next Wednesday night, on Jan. 18.
The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Love Creek Nature Center.
