Silver Hawks earn 2-1 victory over Loons in the 9th

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Monday night South Bend beat the Great Lakes Loons in the bottom of the 9th. The final score was 2-1.

It was also Belly Buster night at the Cove. Many people braved the bad weather and showed their support.

“We were coming out and we found out that we could get food, all you can eat, for $6,” said Matt Zakrowski. “I’m in college, I don’t have any money really. So any time I can get food I’m just ecstatic.”

The Silver Hawks are back in action Tuesday night at home and it's Twofer Tuesday.
