Silver Hawks recognized for recent stadium renovations

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- All the renovations done to Coveleski stadium by the new owners in 2012 have paid off.
Ballpark Digest recognized the team and the Cove for recent renovations totaling nearly $4 million.
Those renovations include a children's play area and splash pad as well as new outdoor seating areas.
The Silver Hawks also expect this years attendance numbers to reach nearly 180,000 after Friday's final home game of the season.
