Fans will witness history at the Cove on Saturday, Aug. 11. South Bend Silver Hawks President Joe Hart announced today that the Cove will throw the biggest fireworks display ever to be seen at the stadium in celebration of Fan Appreciation Night. The show will be twice the size of the July 3 show and will last approximately 14 minutes.
“This has been a tremendous summer for the Silver Hawks and that wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all the wonderful fans in Michiana,” said Hart. “To show our appreciation and gratitude, we decided to host the best fireworks show to ever take place at the Cove. It’s just our way of saying thank you to our fans for making this one of the best summers the Cove has ever seen.”
To celebrate Fan Appreciation Night, fans will also have the chance to register to win a $300 gift card to HHGregg, an opportunity to throw out a ceremonial 1st pitch and two free season seats for the 2013 season. Tickets to Fan Appreciation Night are regular price, and can be purchased at the gate or at www.SilverHawks.com.
The South Bend Silver Hawks are a Class A minor league team affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team is owned and operated by Swing-Batter-Swing, LLC whose sole shareholder is Andrew T. Berlin of Chicago, IL.
