Silver Hawks unable to pull out a victory

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- In their first home game of the season, the Silver Hawks did not pull out a victory. Not very many people were there to see the game because Notre Dame's women were playing in the NCAA championship game, the stadium was half full.

Joe Hart, President of the South Bend Silver Hawks, said he was pleased with the turnout and is looking forward to a great season.

"It's great to get the first game under our belt. It's been a long winter and obviously we are excited to get the things kicked off here at Four Winds Field,” said Hart.
