Singer Randy Travis in critical condition at a Texas hospital

TEXAS — Grammy award winning musician Randy Travis is in critical condition at a hospital in Texas.
According to a release from his public relations team, Travis is suffering from a virus attacking his heart muscle.
The virus causes the heart to beat slower. In same cases, it can stop the heart from beating.
Travis was admitted to the hospital on Sunday.
