Single car crash sends Texas woman to hospital

MISHAWAKA, Ind. — A single car accident in near University Park Mall sent a Texas woman to the hospital.
It happened just before 3 a.m. at Cleveland Road and State Road 23.
Officers say the driver blew through a red light at the intersection and crashed into a tree.
Police believe the woman was intoxicated.
According to police, the woman suffered only minor injuries. They also say that the rental car she was driving is a total loss.
