CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Alcohol is believed to have played a role in a rollover crash on M-60 Saturday night.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department says the crash happened just before 9 p.m. on near Reum Street in Howard Township.
According to deputies, the driver, 34-year-old Shawn Hoover was traveling on M-60 when he and passenger David Crespo drove through a culvert and lost control of the vehicle, rolling it several times.
Both Hoover and Crespo were transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries.
Seatbelts were worn during the crash and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
