Single vehicle accident leaves one dead and one injured

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Elkhart County Police responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident Saturday night that took the life of the driver and injured the passenger.
Police arrived to the scene on US 20 approaching CR 22 shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday.
The vehicle is reported to have run off the south side of US 20 before rolling into a ditch, police say.
An ambulance transported the driver and passenger to a hospital for their injuries.
The driver, 28-year-old Cordero Love, was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say the crash is still under investigation.
