Single vehicle collision leaves two injured

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – Kosciusko Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle collision that sent two to the hospital late Friday night.

A 19-year-old Larwill male was traveling northbound on CR 450 E, south of Old Rd 30.

For reasons still unknown, the driver lost control of the truck - which left the westside of the roadway - striking a tree.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle, sustaining a head injury.

He was transported to Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne.

The passenger, a 19-year-old male from South Whitley also sustained an injury from the collision.

He was partially ejected from the vehicle, resulting in lower body injuries and was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center.  

This crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team.
